What JotNotes collects, and why

Last updated 16 September 2026. JotNotes (Steven Higashi, trading as JotNotes) runs this website. This page covers the website. JotPanel itself runs on your own server and sends nothing to us.

This website

No analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Like every web server, ours records the address, time and page of each request; those logs are deleted after 14 days.

When you email us

We keep your message and email address to answer you and, if you asked, to tell you when JotPanel is released. Ask and we will delete it.

The panel on your server

JotPanel has no telemetry, no registration and no vendor login. It does not contact JotNotes. Only the optional Arca upgrade registers with our licence service and only when you switch it on.

Who else handles it

• Vultr, whose server in Toronto, Canada runs this website.

We do not sell or share your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email jot@jotnotes.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
